Privacy Policy
TheMinium collects as little personal data as possible and only with a clear legal basis. This policy explains what we process, why, and the rights you have under the GDPR and UK GDPR.

2. What we collect and why
Analytics — Google Analytics 4
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used. It runs under Google Consent Mode v2 with storage defaulted to denied; no analytics cookies are set until you accept, and IP addresses are anonymised. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Advertising — Google AdSense
We may display advertising through Google AdSense. Ad-related storage is also governed by Consent Mode v2 and defaults to denied; if you decline, ads (where shown) are served in a non-personalised manner. Google may process data as an independent controller for its own purposes — see Google's privacy policy. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Newsletter — Beehiiv
If you subscribe, your email address is processed by our newsletter provider, Beehiiv, solely to deliver the newsletter. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Affiliate links
Some articles contain affiliate links to products we cover. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We participate in several independent affiliate programs and networks — including, among others, those of tools such as Jasper, Descript, ElevenLabs, Notion, and Canva — not a single marketplace. The merchant or network may set its own cookies once you leave our site; that processing is governed by their privacy policies. Affiliate relationships never determine our editorial verdicts.
Server logs & security
Our host, Cloudflare, processes technical data (such as IP address and user-agent) to deliver and secure the site. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and operation of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
3. What we never do
We do not sell your personal data, we do not share your email with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not build advertising profiles of you ourselves.
4. Cookies
Cookies and similar storage are described in detail in our Cookie Policy, including how the consent banner and Consent Mode categories work.
5. Processors & international transfers
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and security.
- Google (Analytics, AdSense) — analytics and advertising.
- Beehiiv — newsletter delivery.
Some of these providers are based outside the EEA/UK (e.g. in the United States). Where data is transferred internationally, it relies on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. Retention
Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Aggregate analytics are retained according to Google's configured retention period. Security logs are kept only as long as necessary.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting prior lawful processing). To exercise any of these, contact hello@theminium.com.
8. Complaints
If you believe your data has been handled unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Spain, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD); in the United Kingdom, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); or the authority in your country of residence.
