TheMinium uses the minimum storage needed to run the site and, only with your consent, to measure usage and (where shown) fund it through advertising.
How consent works
On your first visit a banner asks whether to enable non-essential cookies. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which defaults all analytics and advertising storage to denied until you accept. You can decline with no loss of access to the content, and you can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser.

1. Strictly necessary
A single local-storage entry records your cookie choice so we don't ask again. This is essential to honour your preference and cannot be disabled.
2. Analytics (optional)
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure, in aggregate, how articles are read. IP addresses are anonymised. Decline, and no analytics cookies are set.
3. Advertising (optional)
If advertising is active and you accept, Google AdSense may set cookies to deliver and frequency-cap ads. If you decline, advertising storage stays denied and any ads are served non-personalised. We do not currently run personalised advertising by default; this policy is updated and consent re-requested before that changes.
