About
A serious publication for a serious moment.
TheMinium covers the AI tools reshaping how creators write, film, record, and design — with honest reviews, market analysis, and deep dives, and none of the affiliate-driven hype that dominates the category.
Why this exists
Search for the best AI tools for any creative discipline and you will find a thousand near-identical listicles, ranked by affiliate commission rather than merit, testing nothing and explaining less. That gap — between the breathless coverage and the actual experience of using these products in a real workflow — is the reason this publication exists.
We treat the AI-for-creators space the way a good business or technology desk treats its beat: with reporting, skepticism, and a willingness to say when something does not work. We are not here to sell you a subscription. We are here to help you understand the ecosystem well enough to make your own decisions.
How we work
Reviews are based on real use, not press kits. When we say a tool falls short, we say where and why. When we recommend something, the reasoning is on the page. We disclose any commercial relationship plainly, and we keep analysis and commerce separate.
- Reviews — hands-on assessments of individual tools.
- Analysis — the market structure and economics underneath.
- Deep dives — long-form examinations of a shift or a category.
- Guides — durable methods, not disposable prompt folklore.
Who writes it
TheMinium was founded and is edited by Mohamed Ech Chantoufy, a software engineering student at FIB-UPC in Barcelona. It draws on a small group of contributors with real production experience across writing, audio, and video. Read more on the contributors page.
